About Yogi

Shri Yogiraj M S Ravishankar Raja’s quest to comprehend truth & Nature at the age of 16 led him to VEDATHRI MAHARISHI where he practised and mastered the philosophies and spiritual teachings expounded by the Master and elevated himself to “Master in Charge” preaching and serving spiritual seekers across Tamil Nadu. Shri Yogiraj M S Ravishankar Raja after returning to Chennai founded THE UNIVERSAL WORLD PEACE DIVINE EMPIRE on 5th February 1995 and registered as a Charitable trust in 1996.

Who we are

Shri Yogiraj M S Ravishankar Raja's commitment to offering free training in yoga, mudras, and meditation emerges from a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of the ancient practices. For over 29 years, he has dedicated himself to sharing these teachings in Chennai, conducting classes that are open to all, regardless of financial means. His decision to provide these services free of charge stems from a profound understanding that spiritual growth should not be hindered by economic barriers. This inclusivity has not only made yoga and meditation accessible to a diverse audience but has also fostered a community where individuals from various backgrounds come together to explore and deepen their spiritual paths.

The Place

The establishment of the 5000 sq ft yoga ashram in Kovadi village near Thindivanam in 2011. Here, amidst the tranquil surroundings of rural Tamil Nadu, he not only teaches the physical postures and techniques of yoga but also integrates moral and ethical principles through the practice of Dharma. By emphasizing Dharma as a guiding philosophy, he encourages villagers to not only improve their physical health but also cultivate virtues such as compassion, honesty, and self-discipline in their daily lives.
